Rev. Fr. Benedict Kenechukwu Onyemechalu, known by his stage name as FadaBen, is a multi-talented individual who has made significant contributions in various fields. He is a Catholic Priest, a musician, a songwriter, a music producer, and a digital content creator.

Born and raised in Suleja, a Suburb of Niger State, a few kilometers from the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. FadaBen was exposed to music at a tender age. He started learning to play the keyboard at age 9 and began composing music for liturgical purposes in 2003. Some of his compositions are still sung at Masses in Catholic Churches across the country.
FadaBen’s journey to priesthood was driven by his childhood desire, and he was ordained a Catholic Priest in 2013. He is currently the Parish Priest of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Orozo, Abuja.
In addition to his priesthood, FadaBen is also a passionate musician. His music calling is hereditary and propelled by passion. He started writing and producing his compositions and those of other artists in 2016. His debut EP, “The Introduction,” was released in February 2022.

FadaBen is also a multipotentialite, exploring songwriting, and music producing, with several singles to his name.
As a Digital Content Creator, He has a penchant for developing attention-grabbing content capable of drawing young creative minds to the things of God. He has a great interest and experience in photography, videography, editing, community building, and youth development.

He is the founder and Creative Director at Padre Creations, an initiative that majorly seeks to profile young and gifted/talented people, mentor and equip them to actualize and utilize their God-given gifts and potentials, achieve independence, and become resourceful, thereby, impacting positively on their local community and the larger society.
FadaBen believes that a key component of nation-building is empowering young minds; hence he advocates strongly for youth development. He is a strong supporter of all that pushes for the growth of the young creative mind, as he believes, that a creative mind is a goal-driven mind.
